More than 50 local youth to present show

WAYNESBORO—The Waynesboro Childrens’ Theatre Troupe will present its 25th annual production, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” Dec. 2-5, at the Waynesboro Area High School.

“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” an Andrew Lloyd Webber-Tim Rice collaboration, is a whimsical musical retelling of the Biblical story of Joseph, son of Jacob, and his 11 brothers.

Approximately 55 area youth are performing in this year’s production.

The main characters and their roles are: Joseph is Sara Policicchio; narrator is Careth Noll. The brothers are Abigail Rhine, Alyssa Vulgamott, Cassidy Wheeler, Chloe Shacreaw, Ginger Moore, Janie Miller, Kaelin Bowie, Mattie Warner, Natalie Beckner, Olivia Snowberger and Robert Bond. Jacob is Dominic Kipe. Pharaoh is Mikey Gardner. Potiphar is Nate Wheeler. Mrs. Potiphar is Lily Snowberger. Wives are Arianna Granados, Avery Pearson, Emma Mong, Lylah Shacreaw, Maycie Bitner, Penelope Downin and Taylor Thompson. Butler is Caleb Noll. Baker is Sarah Benedict. Servants are Althea Pearson, Anabelle Flynn, Baylon Pullin, Bridget Rhine, Laine Wilkinson and Stella Pearson. Prisoners are Brenna Hollingsworth, Lorelei Hepler, and Molly Pagliaro. Cows are Abel Gardner, Aleigh Elgin, and Amelia Carroll. Kids are Annie Policicchio, Claire Rhine, Eliza Ficklin, Elizabeth Cross, Ella Gardner, Hazel Dorius, James Policicchio, Kassidy Flook, Naomi Gress and Teagan Skowron.

The Dec. 2, 3 and 4 shows are at 7 p.m. The Dec. 5 production is at 2 p.m. Tickets for the show are $12 in advance (wctt.org). A limited number of tickets may be available for $10 at the WASHS auditorium door, 550 E. Second St., Waynesboro.
