The Waynesboro Youth League’s postseason got underway on June 25 when the 10U tournament team played a doubleheader in Smithsburg, Maryland.

The Pen Mar Senior Little League tournament team lost to Greencastle in the District 14 championship series held on June 20 and 21. Greencastle won the best-of-three series in two games.

The Senior teams are from ages 13 to 16.

Pen Mar will host the Little League Sectionals beginning July 2 and ending July 5.

On July 8, the Pen Mar Juniors (13-14 year-olds) will host Greencastle in a best-of-three series at Pine Hill Recreation Area in Waynesboro. Game 2 will be July 8; Game 3 will take place July 11, if necessary.
