Washington Township Police Department is investigating a Hit and Run crash resulting in property damage at Blubaugh’s Tire and Wheel, 11755 Buchanan Trail E., that occurred around 10:30 pm on the evening of 10/1/2022.
The vehicle is a silver 4 door Dodge Ram with unknown registration. The vehicle can also be identified by the top running lights and toolbox mounted in the bed of the truck.
The vehicle struck the sign resulting in an unknown amount of front passenger side damage to include a broken fog lamp identified by debris left at the crash. The vehicle was travelling eastbound when it lost control and slid off the road into the sign.
The crash occurred in front of multiple cars travelling westbound at the time. The striking vehicle was driven from the scene and no contact was made with Blubaugh’s Tire and Wheel or WTPD at the time of the crash.
