CHAMBERSBURG- Patriot Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Mary Cordell has joined the credit union’s business services team as Senior Vice President, Business Loan Officer. She is a resident of Greencastle, Franklin County, PA with her husband Brian and daughter Payton. Cordell has more than 32 years of banking experience, with the last 15 years focused specifically on commercial lending and specializing in building trusted relationships with business owners to help their business thrive. Cordell will assist area businesses in Franklin County meet their business growth goals by providing both borrowing and money management solutions.

“Our business services team and our members, will benefit greatly from Mary’s experience and knowledge,” said Eric Foreman, Executive Vice President – Business Lending at Patriot. “Mary will be a valuable resource for business borrowers in our Franklin County market.”

Prior to joining the business services team at Patriot, Cordell served as Commercial Services Relationship Manager, Vice President, with F&M Trust for fifteen years. During her financial services career, she was a Branch Bank Manager with Sovereign Bank and M&T Bank, and an Operations Manager/Mortgage Underwriter with Citi Financial Services.

“I’m excited to bring my experience within the financial services industry to the business members of Patriot Federal Credit Union,” said Cordell. “Understanding the uniqueness of every business, I enjoy working with business owners to provide tailored financial solutions to support their individual needs and appreciate the opportunity to become a trusted advisor in helping their business prosper.”

Cordell is active in the community, currently serving on the Board of Directors with the Greater Waynesboro Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) and is an active member of her church, Antrim Brethren in Christ. She previously served as President of the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Secretary of the Greencastle-Antrim Area Development Corporation Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Waynesboro Community Theatre Board of Directors.
