See pretty patterns. A quilt show will be held Friday, Jan. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cumberland Valley Relief Center, 4225 Molly Pitcher Hwy., Chambersburg, More than 100 hand-quilted pieces will be displayed. This collection of applique and pieced quilts will be sold at the MCC PA Relief Sale March 31 & April 1. Quilting items and material will be available for sale.

Keep your hands busy. Art Saturday will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library. Stop by the library and pick up a bag of supplies you’ll need to complete an art or craft project at home. The instructions are usually via a video link. Kits are geared towards teens ages 12-18, but older kids are welcome to give it a try, too. Kits are available for pickup on a first-come, first-served basis.

Get creative. Seth Holmes of Holmes Watercolors will host a paint class Saturday, Jan. 21, from 1-4 p.m. at 1884 Market House. He will teach techniques and tools for you to apply and create a painting in your unique style, regardless of your experience level. Tickets required.

Shop for a deal. The 2023 STCC Bridal Garage Sale will be held Sunday, Jan. 22, from 1-4 p.m. at STCC Parks and Recreation Department, 56 Cleversburg Road, Shippensburg. There will be décor and more for an upcoming bride and groom, plus photographers, DJs, vendors and more.

Play for cash. A cash bingo to support the Mason Dixon Stingers Softball Association will be held Sunday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. at the Quincy Ox Roast Association. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Concessions will be available.
