He is second vice president of the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges and has served as a member of the education and website committees.

Meyers graduated from Mercersburg Academy, earned of bachelor of arts degree in political science from Kenyon College and a juris doctorate degree from Villanova University School of Law. He started practicing law in 1993 with David C. Cleaver and Associates, before becoming a partner in the law firm of Steiger, Steiger and Meyers, Mercersburg, and also serving as Franklin County Solicitor. Meyers has served on numerous boards of various charitable organizations and clubs during his career. He is a member and past president of the Greene Township Lions Club.
