WAYNESBORO- A company that recently made a move into Waynesboro is laying the foundation for the future.

In preparation for its expanding manufacturing portfolio and acquisition of Homes By Keystone, Guardian Booth has announced a new Director of Operations, Mike Norwood, and a Director of Operational Excellence and Engineering (OPEX), Erlan Martinez.

Norwood, the new Director of Operations accepted the role with a laser focus on streamlining production, reducing overall manufacturing costs that in turn will allow Guardian Booth to continue to offer their customers competitive pricing and reduced lead times across all industries and product offerings.

“Guardian Booth is a unique company in the way they value their employees,” Norwood said. “Even though I have been here for a short time, I feel that I have been working here for years. I am looking forward to helping the company expand and grow as we merge operational synergies with Homes By Keystone.”

Director of OPEX and Engineering, Martinez, will be vital in driving innovation, LEAN manufacturing processes, and standardizations as the company pursues its first ISO certification.

“While Guardian Booth has grown exponentially in the past 8 years since its founding, there are many opportunities that allow us to create process control to reduce the potential for systemic issues,” Martinez said. “I am very excited to be part of a growing company that identifies how powerful quality excellence can be and I am grateful to be a part of the journey.”
