HERSHEY- Hersheypark amusement park will kick off its 117th operating year on April 1, with eight fun-filled spring weekends of coaster rides, new food and beverage offerings, Hershey Characters selfies, ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park visits and endless Hersheypark Happy moments.

For the first time, Hersheypark is open more days than ever and every week from April 1, through Jan. 1 with a combination of earlier openings and later nights for guest flexibility. The spring season at Hersheypark runs eight weekends from April 1, through May 21, as well as Friday, April 7, and Fridays throughout May. Daily summer operations begin on May 25, with The Boardwalk At Hersheypark water park opening for the summer on May 27. Hours vary by day and time of season.

During the eight weekends of spring fun at Hersheypark, guests can enjoy more than 50 family-friendly rides and thrilling coasters, weather permitting, including Great Bear coaster, celebrating 25 years, and Fahrenheit coaster. Tickets also include photo opportunities with Hershey Characters at Hershey’s Hangout performance area across from the HPGO program stand and at Our Friends From The Sea shows with the seals and sea lions in the Aquatheatre inside Hersheypark. Additionally, guests can see dozens of North American animals like black bears, gray wolves, river otters and Canada lynx at ZooAmerica, included with a Hersheypark ticket for added value – only by accessing the Zoo through the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours.

This spring, guests can enjoy new sweet and savory items throughout Hersheypark, including new flavors of King Size Shakes at Simply Chocolate dessert shop and the addition of Philly Cheesesteak Co. in the Pioneer Frontier region of Hersheypark.

A full-service option, The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio in Hershey’s Chocolatetown region is open daily this spring with a Fun to Table menu featuring new seasonal items, such as a Summer Berry Salad, Pasta Primavera, Peach Upside Down Cake, S’mores Milkshake and eight new cocktails.
