Brayden H was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Tuesday, driving in five on three hits to lead WYL Major League Owls past Waynesboro Construction 22-3 on Tuesday. Brayden drove in runs on a double in the second, a walk in the fourth, and a single in the fourth.

Waynesboro Construction got things started in the first inning. An error scored one run for Waynesboro Construction.

WYL Major League Owls pulled away for good with seven runs in the second inning. In the second Palmer D doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs, Brayden doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring three runs, an error scored one run for WYL Major League Owls, and Zach B doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

WYL Major League Owls tallied nine runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by WYL Major League Owls was led by Brayden, Alex J, Zach, Andrew M, Graeme M, and Conlan K, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Brayden was on the pitcher’s mound for WYL Major League Owls. The pitcher went two innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out six and walking one.

Emory A started the game for Waynesboro Construction. The pitcher lasted two innings, allowing six hits and seven runs while striking out four. Nick C, Owen D, Mason N, and Brantley P each entered the game as relief, throwing one inning, one-third of an inning, one-third of an inning, and one-third of an inning respectively.

WYL Major League Owls socked one home run on the day. Zach had a homer in the third inning.

WYL Major League Owls had 12 hits in the game. Brayden, Palmer, and Zach each racked up multiple hits for WYL Major League Owls. Zach, Palmer, and Brayden each managed three hits to lead WYL Major League Owls.
