WACCO/Eagles Friday

Waco defeats the Eagles 6 to 1 on complete from Emory A.

This game was a pitches dual between Caleb D and Emery A with both pitchers only allowing 1 run through 5.  WACCO opened the game up in the top of the sixth with some timely hitting from Mason N and Nick C. 

Six runs batted in from Kason S helped lead WYL Major League Owls past Legion 19-4 on Thursday.  Kason drove in runs on a triple in the second, a double in the second, and a in the third.

Legion scored four runs in the first inning, but WYL Major League Owls still managed to pull out the victory.  Levi and Weston all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

WYL Major League Owls fired up the offense in the first inning, when Brayden H drew a walk, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the first inning, Legion tied things up at four when an error scored two runs for Legion.

WYL Major League Owls pulled away for good with 11 runs in the second inning.  In the second Kason tripled on a 2-0 count, scoring three runs, an error scored one run for WYL Major League Owls, Aiden O drew a walk, scoring one run, Graeme M drew a walk, scoring one run, Brody B drew a walk, scoring one run, Alex J singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, an error scored one run for WYL Major League Owls, and Kason doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.

Graeme was on the mound for WYL Major League Owls. Graeme lasted one inning, allowing two hits and four runs while striking out one.

Kaden L started the game for Legion. The hurler allowed four hits and 12 runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out five.  Nathaniel and Weston entered the game as relief, throwing one and one-third innings and one inning respectively.

WYL Major League Owls collected nine hits.  Alex, Kason, and Palmer D all collected multiple hits for WYL Major League Owls.  Alex went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead WYL Major League Owls in hits.

WYL Major League Owls easily did away with Waynesboro Construction🛠️ 11-1 on Tuesday

WYL Major League Owls got things started in the first inning when Kason S homered on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

WYL Major League Owls tallied four runs in the fourth inning.  WYL Major League Owls offense in the inning was led by Palmer D, Kason, and Zach B, all driving in runs in the frame.

Brayden H led things off on the mound for WYL Major League Owls. The righthander lasted three innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out four and walking one.

Mason N was on the pitcher’s mound for Waynesboro Construction🛠️. The bulldog went three innings, allowing nine runs on four hits and striking out eight.  Emory A threw two-thirds of an inning in relief.

WYL Major League Owls socked one home run on the day. Kason went deep in the first inning.

Palmer went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead WYL Major League Owls in hits.  WYL Major League Owls didn’t commit a single error in the field. Kason had four chances in the field, the most on the team.
