WYL Major League Owls weathered a push by Waynesboro Construction in the sixth inning where WYL Major League Owls coughed up four runs, but WYL Major League Owls still won 11-5 on Thursday.  Waynesboro Construction’s big inning was driven by a single by Nolan G and a double by Ayden C.

Waynesboro Construction got things started in the first inning.  An error scored one run for Waynesboro Construction.

WYL Major League Owls notched five runs in the third inning.  WYL Major League Owls’s big inning was driven by singles by Palmer D and Conlan K, an error on a ball put in play by Zach B, and a double by Kason S.

Kason led things off on the mound for WYL Major League Owls. The righty went two innings, allowing one run on zero hits, striking out four and walking one.

Mason N started the game for Waynesboro Construction🛠️. The bulldog lasted three innings, allowing five hits and seven runs while striking out ten.  Emory A threw three innings in relief.

WYL Major League Owls tallied 12 hits on the day.  Kason, Conlan, Alex J, Palmer, and Zach all managed multiple hits for WYL Major League Owls.  Zach, Palmer, Alex, Conlan, and Kason each collected two hits to lead WYL Major League Owls.

Palmer D gave Legion fits, as Palmer bagged four hits in WYL Major League Owls’s 13-6 victory on Monday.  Palmer singled in the first, singled in the second, doubled in the fourth, and tripled in the fifth.

Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. WYL Major League Owls collected 13 hits and Legion had five.

Legion got things moving in the first inning, when.

WYL Major League Owls pulled away for good with one run in the third inning.  In the third Brayden H hit a solo homer.

WYL Major League Owls notched five runs in the fourth inning.  WYL Major League Owls batters contributing to the big inning included Palmer, Kason S, Brayden, and Zach B, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Conlan K led things off on the pitcher’s mound for WYL Major League Owls. The pitcher went two innings, allowing two runs on zero hits and striking out two.

Lucas S was on the hill for Legion. Lucas allowed 12 hits and ten runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out six.  Nathaniel S and Kaden L entered the game as relief, throwing one inning and one-third of an inning respectively.

WYL Major League Owls tallied one home run on the day. Brayden went yard in the third inning.

WYL Major League Owls totaled 13 hits in the game.  Palmer, Zach, and Brayden each had multiple hits for WYL Major League Owls.  Palmer went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead WYL Major League Owls in hits.

Carter B led Legion with two hits in three at bats.

A 3 hit day for Kason S to lead Owls to a 17-1 win over Eagles. Kason singled in the first, singled in the second and hit a grand slam in the second inning. Kason led the Owls with 6 rbi s on the day.

Pitching for Owls had a very good day only giving up 1 run. Kason started and pitched 2 shutout innings, striking out 5. Alex J came in and pitched 1 inning , striking out 3 and only giving up 1 run.

Eagles offense was led by Aiden H,Jace K,Kaiden L and Caleb D. All had one hit each for Eagles.

Jace K was the starting pitcher for Eagles. He went 1 2/3 innings giving up 15 runs on 8 hits, striking out 1.Aiden H came in to relieve him and pitch 1/3 of an inning, giving up 2 runs and striking out 1.
