OCTOBER 7, 2023 (Sat. – 7pm):  Chicago Transit: World’s longest running TRIBUTE TO THE BAND, CHICAGO astounds with their three-piece horn section, four-piece rhythm section, and four lead vocalists expertly covering all of the Chicago material from the early horn-dominant classics like ‘Make Me Smile’, ’25 or 6 to 4’ and ‘Saturday in the Park’ to the later, softer, keyboard-oriented ballads like ‘If You Leave Me Now’.  Beer, Wine, Concessions.  Sponsored in part by Patriot Federal Credit Union   

OCTOBER 22, 2023 (Sun. – 3pm):  Guy Penrod: Grammy and Dove award-winning gospel artist and celebrated vocalist on the Gaither Homecoming Series takes the stage with his talented band.  Guy Penrod’s rasp-tinged country-style vocals and experience on stage over the years have given him the ability to provide a relaxed, meaningful, and inspiring performance. OCTOBER 28, 2023 (Sat. – 9pm):  Rocky Horror Picture Show Interactive Movie Event: The Halloween season is not complete for many viewers 18 years and older without this annual interactive movie event featuring the popular 1975 horror/musical comedy (R).  Costume Parade at 9pm before the movie begins! Prop bags for purchase while supplies last and etiquette guide available on the Capitol’s website. Beer, Wine, Concessions

NOVEMBER 3, 2023 (Fri. – 7pm):  Jukebox Saturday Night: Fun Friday night out with the greatest hits of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and more performed by world-class 10-piece big band managed by Glenn Miller Productions. Beer, Wine, Concessions

 DECEMBER 2, 2023 (Sat. -11am PJ Party/12pm Movie):  Polar Express Pajama Party & Movie: Patrons of all ages are invited to gather their friends and family and wear their comfiest pajamas for this popular annual event! The Pajama Party features a hot cocoa bar, inspired by the scene in the movie! This classic Christmas movie based on the 1985 storybook, has been enjoyed by families, year after year.   DECEMBER 9, 2023 (Sat. – 7pm): Rock This Town Orchestra Christmas Spectacular: A swingin’ and rockin’ holiday extravaganza the whole family will enjoy!  World-class musicians perform the biggest hits of the season with this tribute to The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Stray Cats, & more. Contemporary culture meets classic ’50s rock-and-roll and big-band swing! Santa Claus even joins the show! Beer, Wine, Concessions

DECEMBER 21, 2023 (Thurs.): White Christmas Movie & Holiday Social:  For many, this annual Christmas movie event at the Capitol has become a holiday tradition.  The 1954 American musical film starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen has two screenings with a holiday social in between!  The screenings are at 3pm & 6:30 pm with a holiday social at 5pm. The community is invited to stay after the first movie or come early to the second movie to enjoy the social festivities. Santa visits! Holiday treats, Concessions, Adult-themed Drinks, Beer, Wine, Concessions (Tickets at the door only for this event) Sponsored in part by Menno Haven Retirement Communities.  

FEBRUARY 10, 2024 (Sat. – 7pm): ‘Gal’entine’s Day Comedy Event w/ Karen Mills & More: For gal pals or anyone who needs a good laugh! Karen Mills is a national touring comedienne and can also be heard regularly on Sirius/XM Laugh USA and Blue Collar Radio!  Karen has a straight-forward approach to the realities of life. Her smart, funny, keen observations will keep you laughing at yourself as you relate to her experiences. Even ovarian cancer couldn’t stop her from turning her pain into punchlines. This special event also includes local artisan vendors and special sweet treats from Postmasters Coffee & Bakery and more.  Beer, Wine, Concessions. In partnership with Keystone Health

FEBRUARY 24, 2024 (Sat. – 7pm): Mountain Music & Moonshine:An annual foot stompin’ good time!  This season, regional bluegrass bands taking the stage will be:Remington Ryde and Dead Horse Revival. Whiskey, Bourbon, Moonshine, Beer, Wine, Concessions

MARCH 8, 2024 (Fri. 5:30 – 8pm):  Irish Happy Hour: Featuring lively, authentic Irish music from returning Celtic band, Across the Pond in the intimate setting of the Capitol’s Wood Center!  Plus, Adult Irish-themed Drinks, Beer, Wine, Non-alcoholic Drinks, Irish Food, Irish Dancers, and an Irish-themed Raffle! This annual Irish-themed party for ages 21+ is always a lot of fun! (Must reserve tables of 8 in advance.  Limited number of tables.  No at the door tickets.)

MARCH 14, 2024 (Thurs. – 7pm):  Rhythm of the Dance w/The National Dance Company of Ireland:    #1 rated, world-touring Irish dance production returns to the Capitol Theatre with World and Irish Champion step dancers, first rate Irish musicians and singers. Adult Irish-themed Drinks, Beer, Wine, Concessions

APRIL 6, 2024 (Sat. – 2pm & 7pm): The Little Mermen/New York City’s Premier Disney Tribute Band: Disney fueled nostalgia and sing-a-longs with rock covers of favorite Disney hits (in costume) designed for a generation that grew up on Disney and never let it go! TWO BIG SHOWS: Family Show 2pm w/ Concessions and Disney After Dark Show 7pm w/ Adult Disney-themed Drinks, Beer, Wine, Concessions

APRIL 19, 2024 (Fri. – 7pm):  Bee Gees Gold: World-touring Bee Gees tribute returns to the Capitol Theatre and is the ultimate salute and experience of seeing the Bee Gees live once again! Backed by a live band, Bee Gees Gold recreates the look and sound of the Bee Gees from the 60’s to the late 70’s, with their unique falsettos that made them legends. Performing early hits and the later Disco classics, ‘Stayin’ Alive’, ‘You Should Be Dancing’ and more. Beer, Wine, Concessions Sponsored by GDC IT Solutions.

MAY 4, 2024 (Sat. 4-8pm):  Blues, Brews & Barbecue: Annual Outdoor Event with Live Bands:  Skyla Burrell Band and Jo Blues Band, Food Trucks, Beer, Wine, Concessions.  Stay connected for details.
