Local Businesses Celebrate Grand Openings and Anniversaries

Local businesses in Greencastle and Chambersburg are celebrating grand openings and anniversaries in October.

  • Eden Boutique & Design will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday, Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 24 E Baltimore Street in Greencastle.
  • Northwood Books is celebrating 35 years in business on Friday, Oct. 6 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 59 North Main Street in Chambersburg. The celebration will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m., as well as specials such as 10% off the entire store and a raffle for book sets.
  • Mercy House of Chambersburg will hold a ribbon-cutting and tour on Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 730 Norland Avenue.
  • Kim Stouffer Insurance Agency Inc. will hold an open house and ribbon-cutting on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 759 Stouffer Avenue.
  • The Chambersburg-Vaughan Regional Chamber of Commerce (CVBA) will also hold a grand opening ribbon-cutting celebration for the Early Learning Center / First Start Partnerships for Children & Families on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. at 2071 Lincoln Way East.

The CVBA encourages the public to attend these events and support local businesses.
