Curtain Rises on New Website: Capitol Theatre Unveils User-Friendly Experience

CHAMBERSBURG- The Capitol Theatre in Chambersburg, is set to launch an updated website in February, designed to provide a fresh look and easier access to event information. The website, created by LaunchUX, will continue to be accessible at thecapitoltheatre.org. This update aims to enhance the user experience and make it more convenient for patrons to find and engage with upcoming events.

The theatre has an exciting lineup of events scheduled, catering to a diverse range of interests. On February 10, the theatre will host the ‘Gal’entine’s Day Comedy Event, featuring national touring comedienne Karen Mills. This special evening promises laughter, with Karen’s candid and humorous take on life. The event will also include a bar, sweet treats, and pop-up shops from local businesses, creating a vibrant and entertaining atmosphere for all attendees.

On February 24, the theatre will present “Mountain Music & Moonshine,” offering a foot-stomping good time for bluegrass fans. The event will feature Remington Ryde, a band with ten SPBGMA Award Nominations, ensuring an electrifying performance. Additionally, the evening will include a selection of whiskey, bourbon, beer, wine, and moonshine, providing a true taste of the region’s musical and cultural heritage.

March 14 will see the return of the National Dance Company of Ireland’s “Rhythm of the Dance,” a world-touring Irish dance production that celebrates Irish culture through captivating performances and storytelling. This highly acclaimed show promises to transport audiences to the heart of Ireland, combining traditional and innovative elements for a truly unforgettable experience.

Looking ahead, the theatre has a diverse range of events planned, including a Disney tribute band performance, a Bee Gees tribute, and outdoor events featuring live bands, food trucks, and beverages. The upcoming events are designed to offer something for everyone, from music enthusiasts to families looking for quality entertainment.

As the Capitol Theatre prepares to unveil its updated website and host a series of captivating events, it continues to uphold its reputation as a non-profit cultural arts gem in downtown Chambersburg.
