Sip Tea and Paint. TranquilaTEA Tea Room and Gift Shop is set to host an enchanting evening with watercolor artist Seth Holmes. Seth Holmes will provide personalized instruction and teach techniques to help participants capture the essence of their chosen subject. The evening includes a dessert tea party, all necessary materials and art supplies—which participants get to keep—and, of course, the final painting. With limited class size to ensure a quality experience, the cost is $75 per person, which covers two hours of instruction, materials, the final artwork, and the dessert tea party.

Celebrate Galentine’s Day. Barbara Randall, in collaboration with the Council for the Arts Chambersburg, will present the Galentine’s Portrait Plates workshop on Sunday, Feb. 11, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This creative event, now in its second year, invites teens and adults to embrace self-expression and self-love by painting imperfect portraits on glass plates. The workshop aims to provide a fun and lighthearted environment where participants can let go of perfect expectations and celebrate their perfectly imperfect selves. No prior art skills are necessary, making it an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all. The cost of the workshop is $25 per person, and friends are highly encouraged to join in the creative festivities to double the fun.
