CHAMBERSBURG–Franklin County Commissioners will meet, Feb. 14, beginning at 10 a.m. in the administration building. The agenda is as follows:

o BOARD APPOINTMENTS – The Board will consider appointing Dean Horst, John Thierwechter, Lorana Blanchard, James Eagler, Stacey Brookens, Teresa Beckner, and Stacie M. Horvath to the Tuscarora Managed Care Alliance Steering Committee for a term of April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.

o PRESENTATION – Veterans Affairs & rabbittransit announce new veterans’ medical transportation service for local vets.

BOARD ACTIONS:

Children and Youth – Updated contract listing for additional contracts and addendums for the Fiscal Year 2023/2024 for the Children and Youth department. Contract listing is maintained for proper accounting of all contracts to include vendor name and address, type(s) of service provided and rate(s) charged for service.

2. **Department of Emergency Services – Quote from Capital Area Communications to replace a damaged microwave dish at Clark’s Knob, in the amount of $13,640.39. Quotes were requested, three quotes were received and this was the lowest qualified quote. This has been submitted as an insurance claim.

ACT 14, 67, 68 and 127 NOTIFICATIONS

In accordance with PA Act notifications, Western Pennsylvania Conservancy notified the County of a Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection in-stream fish habitat project (GP-1) permit being applied for in St.Thomas Township along Wilson Run.

In accordance with PA Act notifications, Red Barn Consulting, Inc. notified the County of a Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection NPDES permit renewal being applied by Arnold Horst Swine CAFO located in Antrim Township.

In accordance with PA Act notifications, Land Studies notified the County of intent to request a Joint Permit under 25 PA Code Chapter 105.12(a) 16 between Montgomery Township and County of Franklin for restoration activities within waters of the Commonwealth to PA DEP Southcentral Office for the Licking Creek Floodplain Improvement Project.

In accordance with PA Act notifications, Land Studies notified the County of intent to request a waiver under 25 PA Code Chapter 105.12(a) 16 for the restoration activities within Waters of the Commonwealth to PA DEP Central Office for the Back Creek at Edenville Road Floodplain Restoration
