WAYNESBORO- The Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce successfully hosted its 28th annual Business Expo on February 17 at the Waynesboro Area Senior High School, where it showcased over 60 businesses and organizations. The event was a day brimming with activities suitable for all ages, ensuring that every attendee found something to enjoy.

For the younger crowd, the Kidz Zone was a hub of excitement. A talented balloon artist twisted and turned balloons into a menagerie of shapes, much to the delight of the children. The moon bounce was a constant flurry of activity as kids jumped and laughed, expending their energy. Face painting artists transformed little faces into canvases of colorful designs, and strands of fairy hair added a touch of sparkle to the day’s festivities.

Meanwhile, adults had their share of fun with Blackout Bingo, a game that held the tantalizing promise of a $1,000 prize. The competitive spirit was alive and well as participants eagerly marked their cards, hoping to shout “Bingo!” and claim the cash reward.

Adding to the day’s charm, the Lion’s Club served up their annual pancake breakfast from 8 to 11:30 a.m. The aroma of freshly cooked pancakes wafted through the air, drawing a steady stream of attendees looking to indulge in a delicious start to their day.

The expo was more than just a showcase for local businesses; it was a testament to the community’s dedication to health and wellness. The WellSpan Women’s Health Bus was a beacon of information, parked at the event to educate visitors on women’s health issues. This initiative was a clear indication of the expo’s commitment to nurturing a healthy community.
