GREENCASTLE- The Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for a community-wide initiative aimed at enhancing the town’s aesthetics and cleanliness. Scheduled for Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to noon, the Spring Clean Up Day invites residents, community groups, clubs, and individuals to join hands in a collective effort to pick up litter and beautify the town.

Participants are encouraged to convene at 32 Center Square in Greencastle at 9 a.m., where they will receive safety vests, gloves, and trash bags to facilitate the cleanup activities. Following the distribution of supplies, volunteers will be divided into smaller groups to focus on picking up litter in and around the Greencastle Borough.

The event not only aims to spruce up the town but also fosters a sense of community pride and collaboration among its residents. By coming together for this initiative, participants contribute to maintaining the beauty of their surroundings and creating a cleaner environment for all.

Individuals interested in taking part in the Spring Clean Up Day are urged to RSVP through the provided link. The event promises to be a rewarding experience for all involved, offering an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the local community.

The Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce extends its gratitude to Waste Management for their sponsorship of this community-driven endeavor. Their support underscores the importance of corporate responsibility and environmental stewardship in preserving the charm and cleanliness of Greencastle-Antrim.
