Invitation to Bid: Alley Paving Project in Greencastle

GREENCASTLE- The Borough of Greencastle has issued an invitation to bid for the ALLEY PAVING project, involving the milling and overlay of asphalt on E. Warren Lane and N. Church Lane in Greencastle, PA. Here are the key details for interested bidders:

  • Project Scope: The project includes a 3” mill and 3” overlay of 19mm asphalt on E. Warren Lane from N. Washington Street to N. Allison Street and N. Church Lane from E. Warren Lane to E. Madison Street, totaling approximately 795 linear feet.
  • Owner: BOROUGH OF GREENCASTLE, located at 60 N. Washington Street, Greencastle, PA 17225.
  • Bid Submission Deadline: Bids must be received at the Owner’s office by April 23, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., with a public opening and reading of bids following.
  • Pre-Bid Meeting: A pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on April 9, 2024, at 9:30 A.M. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory.
  • Question Submission: Questions will be accepted until April 16, 2024, at 1:00 P.M., and must be submitted in writing to elittle@greencastlepa.gov.
  • Contract Details: The contract will adhere to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination set by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry.
  • Bid Terms: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any bid.
