Upcoming Easter Egg Hunts in the Area

As the Easter season approaches, several local organizations and businesses are gearing up to host exciting Easter egg hunt events for the community. From family-friendly hunts to adult-only festivities, there are plenty of opportunities for people of all ages to join in the Easter fun.

  • Ivy Hill Farm
    13840 Smithsburg Pike, Smithsburg, MD
    Saturday, March 30, 2 p.m.
    Free community Easter egg hunt at the farm.
  • Fort Ritchie Community Center
    Saturday, March 30, 1 p.m.
    The Easter Bunny will arrive at 1:00 pm to start the egg hunt. Antietam Dairy Ice Cream Truck will serve treats before and after the egg hunt.
  • Otterbein Community Recreation Park (13375 Welty Road)
    Saturday, March 30, 11 a.m.
    The egg hunt will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. for kids ages 2 through 5th grade.
  • Hidden Key Brewing Co.
    101 W. Baltimore Street, Greencastle
    Saturday, March 30
    5 p.m. – Kids Egg Hunt (Ages 0-12)
    6 p.m. – Adult Egg Hunt* (21+)
    *Five eggs will each contain a ticket for a $20 Hidden Key Gift Card!
  • Maugansville Ruritan Club
    Saturday March 30, 1 p.m. in the community park
    Children will be divided into age groups and there will also be a special section for handicap and special needs children.
  • South Mountain Bible Church
    11275 S Mountain Rd, Fayetteville
    Saturday, March 30, 10 a.m.
    All kids 12 and under are invited to join us for a free community Easter egg hunt. The morning includes a special Easter message, candy, prizes, and age-specific areas.
  • Mercersburg Lions Club
    Saturday, March 30, 2 p.m.
    Age groups: 0-3, 4-6, 7-12. Disabled and special needs group ages 3-21 with adult supervision. Candy-filled eggs and prize eggs for each age group.

These events provide a fun and festive way for families and individuals to celebrate the Easter season together. Whether you’re looking for a traditional egg hunt or a unique adult-focused experience, there are plenty of options to choose from in the local area.
