In addition to the first-place winners, Waynesboro Area School District saw success in other categories as well.

Jordan Behnke secured a third-place finish in the 3D Design category, while Chloe Shacreaw earned a third-place award in the Digital Movie category.

The PA Media and Design competition is an annual event that showcases the skills and talents of students from across the Commonwealth in various media and design-related categories. The competition provides students with the opportunity to showcase their work, receive feedback from industry professionals, and compete for the chance to advance to the state-level competition.

The state-level competition, scheduled for May 21st at Dickinson College, will bring together the top-performing students from regional competitions across Pennsylvania. The event will feature a variety of workshops, networking opportunities, and the chance for students to further demonstrate their expertise in media and design.

Waynesboro Area School District’s success at the regional competition is a testament to the district’s commitment to providing its students with a well-rounded education that emphasizes the development of critical thinking, creativity, and technical skills. The district’s continued support and investment in its media and design programs have enabled students to thrive and excel in these competitive arenas.
