Cruise In for a Cause. The Fort Ritchie Community Center will host its 3rd Annual Bill Coyle Memorial Cruise-In on Sunday, June 23, from noon to 4 p.m. This family-friendly event welcomes all types of vehicles and offers dash plaques for the first 100 registrants. Participants can enjoy food trucks, raffles, and trophy awards for specific categories. With a $5 registration fee per vehicle, the event honors the late Bill Coyle’s passion for classic cars while providing an affordable and enjoyable experience for car enthusiasts and the community alike.

Shop with Friends. The Franklin Fire Company will host an indoor community yard and vendor sale on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22. The event will take place at the Social Hall located at 158 W. King St in Chambersburg. On Friday, June 21, the sale will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., while on Saturday, June 22, it will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. This community event provides an opportunity for locals to browse, buy, and sell various items in a convenient indoor setting.

Kick off Summer. The Fort Ritchie Summer Kick Off, scheduled for Saturday, June 22 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Cascade, Maryland, promises a day filled with diverse entertainment and activities. Attendees can enjoy food trucks, live music featuring Wayne’s Driscoll and the Lucky Punk Band, living history demonstrations, and a spectacular fireworks display. The event will also showcase Black Hawk helicopters courtesy of the Maryland National Guard, alongside various games and activities, making it an exciting summer celebration for all ages.

Learn to Paint. Join a 2.5-hour watercolor painting class on Saturday, June 22 from 1:30 p.m.-4 p.m. at Holmes Watercolors studio in Waynesboro. For $60, participants of all ages and skill levels receive instruction, supplies, and guidance to create their own artwork. The class aims to build confidence and artistic skills in a relaxed, fun environment, with students often surprised by their own abilities.

Experience Colonial America Live. The Fort Loudoun Market Fair, one of Pennsylvania’s largest historical events, is set to take place from June 21-23, at the Fort Loudoun Historic Site. This popular annual event transforms the area into an 18th-century village, featuring colonial craft vendors, music, carnival shows, a reenactor flea market, and delicious food. Attracting over 5,000 visitors annually, the fair offers a unique glimpse into colonial life. Admission is $5 for adults, with free entry for those 17 and under.
