Middletown Valley Bank (“MVB” or “the Bank”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Community Heritage Financial, Inc., has announced the construction of a new 4,000 square foot full-service retail branch. The new building site, located at 180 Eastern Blvd. N. in Hagerstown, MD is adjacent to the existing MVB location, and will feature three drive thru lanes and a drive thru ATM. The entrance to the new location will be on Opal Court, which will allow for easier access to Eastern Blvd. than the Bank’s existing location at 1101 Professional Court. MVB expects construction and relocation to be completed in the fall of 2025.

“The community has been so welcoming to Middletown Valley Bank since we entered the Hagerstown market and opened the existing Eastern Blvd. Branch in 2015. Our team is thrilled to have the opportunity to provide customers with an even more exceptional experience. In an era when technology is so prevalent, we are honored so many in the Hagerstown community choose to bank with MVB and want to visit our branches,” said Robert E. (BJ) Goetz, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank.

MVB’s current branch on Eastern Blvd. was the Bank’s first location in the Hagerstown community and has grown to nearly $400 million in deposits. The Bank opened its second Hagerstown location, the Paramount Branch, at 13418 Marsh Pike in 2019, as well as its Operations Center, located at 480 N. Potomac Street.

Middletown Valley Bank provides personal and business banking services, as well as residential mortgage lending services through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Mlend. The cornerstone of the MVB brand is built on providing Absolutely Exceptional Experiences, one conversation, one connection, and one community at a time. Originating in Middletown, Maryland in 1908, today the Bank operates offices in the Maryland counties of Frederick, Washington, Garrett, and Anne Arundel, and Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
