CHAMBERSBURG. — Downtown Chambersburg Inc. (DCI) will host their 28th annual Crabfeast on Saturday, August 24. The feast will be at the AMVETS Post 224 picnic pavilion at 750 Fifth Avenue from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The menu features all-you-can-eat hardshell crabs and barbecue, as well as beer and other beverages. The event also includes small games of chance, a raffle, and an auction, and it will be held rain or shine. Proceeds from the Crabfeast benefit downtown revitalization efforts.

I360 Property Management serves as the grand sponsor for the event. Emily Schuit, managing partner of i360 Property Management, anticipates the sense of togetherness Crabfeast brings to the community.

“At i360 Property Management, our mission is to build stronger, more resilient communities. Crabfeast brings together residents, businesses, and local leaders to celebrate and support DCI’s mission,” she says. “We hope that through our support DCI can continue to expand their reach and continue making a lasting impact on the community. Together, we are creating a more engaged and supportive environment for all.”

Sam Thrush, president of DCI, says, “This well-attended fundraiser repeatedly brings the community together each year to bolster our downtown area. It’s a great way to close out the summer while having fun and doing good.”

Dine-in tickets for Crabfeast are on sale now at $75 for attendees aged 13+ and $20 for children aged 2–12. Take-out tickets are also available for 12 hardshell crabs. Take-out orders must be picked up by 5:30.

Sponsorships are still available. To sponsor the Crabfeast, purchase tickets, or learn more, email Sam Thrush at sthrush@chambersburg.org or visit downtownchambersburg.com/crabfeast.
