Support local artisans. The Greencastle Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Summer Market Day on Saturday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event, set to take place on the lawn between 136 and 144 East Baltimore Street, will showcase local artisans, crafters, fresh food vendors, and food trucks. This community gathering aims to support local businesses and artisans while offering visitors a chance to explore the charm of downtown Greencastle.

Celebrate Christmas. Downtown Chambersburg will host a festive “Christmas in July” event on Saturday, July 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. This unique celebration invites the community to enjoy summer sales and holiday cheer from various local businesses. Participating stores will offer special promotions and have specific hours for the event. Shoppers can explore a variety of shops participating in downtown Chambersburg.

Enjoy the Friday tunes. Music enthusiasts in Waynesboro are in for a treat this Friday evening as Zach King, a renowned picker and singer, is set to perform at Michaux Brewing Co. The event will take place on July 26 from 6 to 9 p.m., offering a blend of live music and craft beer in a relaxed atmosphere.

Find Nemo. The Chambersburg Community Theatre is set to present “Finding Nemo, Jr.” on Saturday, July 27, with performances at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at The Capitol Theatre’s Wood Center. This 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar film features new music by award-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. The story follows Marlin, an overprotective clownfish, as he embarks on an epic ocean journey to find his son Nemo, who has been captured and taken to Sydney. Along the way, Marlin encounters a cast of colorful characters, including the forgetful Dory and the laid-back sea turtle Crush, as both father and son learn valuable lessons about family, friendship, and self-discovery.

Experience 18th-century art. Fort Loudoun Historic Site will host an 18th Century Hand Fan Workshop on Sunday, July 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to decorate paper or wood hand fans in period fashion, with all materials provided for a fee of $15 per person. The event, suitable for most ages, will take place in the air-conditioned Patton House Summer Kitchen, offering ample seating and light refreshments.
