FAYETTEVILLE — This weekend, the Totem Pole Playhouse will host performances of the beloved musical Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. as part of its kids’ summer camp program. The show will take place on Friday, August 16, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, August 17, at 10:30 a.m. This production promises to be an entertaining and educational experience for families, combining fun with valuable learning opportunities just in time for the back-to-school season.

The summer camp at Totem Pole Playhouse offers young performers a chance to explore the world of theater through hands-on experiences in acting, singing, and dancing. The program is designed to nurture creativity, build confidence, and instill a love for the arts among participants. With experienced instructors guiding the campers, the environment is both supportive and enriching, allowing children of all skill levels to thrive.

Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. is based on the popular educational animated series that aired in the 1970s and 1980s. The musical features catchy songs and engaging storytelling that cover various subjects, making it a perfect blend of entertainment and education. Parents can expect their children to enjoy the lively performances while also absorbing important lessons in a fun way. Tickets for the performances are available through the Totem Pole Playhouse’s website, and families are encouraged to attend.
