Sip, snack, and smile all day. The second annual Greencastle Grub & Pub Festival, will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Greencastle. This family-friendly event will feature a diverse array of food vendors, including traditional options like burgers and barbecue, as well as international cuisines such as Asian, Greek, Indian and Mexican dishes. Attendees can enjoy live music from local bands throughout the day and a Pub Garden for those over 21, showcasing local breweries and distilleries. The festival aims to promote local businesses and will coincide with the Greencastle Market Day, providing opportunities for shopping and community engagement.

Experience joy at Backroads Greenhouse. Backroads Greenhouse is set to host its 4th Annual Fall Fest on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., regardless of weather conditions. The event promises a variety of family-friendly activities, including a corn maze, pumpkin patch, hay wagon rides, and a petting zoo. Attendees can also enjoy sweet treats such as decorated cookies and mini cakes, along with new offerings like granola. Additionally, local vendors will be present, showcasing handmade items and food options, enhancing the festive atmosphere of the day.

Hagerstown beckons; Fall Fest awaits. Hagerstown will host its annual City Park Fall Fest, Saturday, Sept. 21, a vibrant celebration of arts, entertainment and history, presented by Maryland Physicians Care. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., featuring a variety of free family-friendly activities including pony rides, museum tours and hands-on art projects. Attendees can explore six different activity sites throughout the park, with local craft vendors showcasing their artistic creations. The festivities will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display over City Park Lake at 7:45 p.m., following an afternoon filled with entertainment such as balloon bending and circus performances.

Join the Hootenanny. The Waynesboro Bluegrass Music scene will come alive once again with a lively Hootenanny at Music Makers from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22. This event, led by local musicians Johnny Calamari and Brad Munn, invites attendees to bring their instruments and join in the celebration of bluegrass music. Open to everyone and free of charge, the gathering promises an afternoon filled with joyful melodies and community spirit. Participants are encouraged to call their friends and enjoy a special day dedicated to the rich traditions of bluegrass music in Waynesboro.

Enjoy food from around the world. The Corpus Christi International Food Festival is set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 21, from noon to 7 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Parish Center parking lot in Chambersburg. This event promises a diverse culinary experience featuring ethnic foods from various cultures represented within the community. Attendees can also participate in children’s activities and enter raffle drawings for prizes including a car, television and cash. It is important to note that only cash will be accepted for purchases at the festival. The location for the festival is 279 N. Second St., Chambersburg.
