Once an application is processed, voters will receive a voter registration card in the mail noting the changes they have made along with the location of their polling places. Applications received or postmarked after Oct. 21 will be processed for the municipal primary in May 2025.

First-time voters will be asked to show ID the first they vote. Voters who have made any updates to their registration may be asked to show ID after the update. This is the only time voters will be asked to show ID. For a list of approved forms of ID, voters may visit the Department of State website, www.vote.pa.gov

Offices on the November Presidential Election ballot include U.S. president, U.S. senator, state attorney general, state auditor general, state treasurer, representative in Congress, senator in the General Assembly and representative in the General Assembly.

Some voters in Chambersburg Borough may be voting in new precincts in the November election due to census-driven reapportionment. And three area voter locations have been changed. Voters who are impacted and moved to other districts will receive a new voter registration card in the mail as well as a notice notifying them of their new polling location. The Borough of Chambersburg will also include information on this redistricting project in its October utility bill mailing.
