CHAMBERSBURG – In celebration of Manufacturing Month, the recently renamed and renovated Patriot Business Park near Letterkenny Army Depot is hosting an open house “warehouse party” and ribbon cutting event on Thursday, Oct. 17.

The business networking event will showcase the extensive upgrades made to the Patriot Business Park property, which is now available for leasing for a variety of warehousing and logistics uses. Updates made by property owner Miller Investments include new loading docks, a rejuvenated roof, updated lighting and fiberoptic internet service, among others.

With anywhere from 5,000 to 300,000 square feet of space indoors and six acres of outdoor storage available, Patriot Business Park offers a convenient option for manufacturers looking for flexible space at competitive rates, according to officials with Miller Investments. The property is zoned for heavy industrial uses with both indoor and outdoor storage, reinforced flooring and onsite rail service. It is located on the I-81 corridor.

“This building has been part of Franklin County’s history for more than seven decades,” said Ira Miller, managing member, Miller Investments. “With Patriot Business Park, we’re honoring the building’s rich history while also giving it a facelift with modern amenities for today’s manufacturing and logistics needs. With October being Manufacturing Month, it’s the perfect time to celebrate with the local business community and prospective tenants.”

Miller Investments is partnering with Cumberland Valley Business Alliance to help cut the ribbon on the facility during the warehouse party and open house event. The event will also feature food, beverages, entertainment and networking opportunities for local businesspeople.

“We are thrilled to join Miller Investments and our local business community to help cut the ribbon on the newly renovated and refreshed Patriot Business Park,” said Mark Hollar, membership director for the CVBA. “New investments in our manufacturing and warehousing sector are critically important to our local economy, and we’re excited to see new life breathed into this property.”

The warehouse party and business networking event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17 at Patriot Business Park, 2111 Carbaugh Ave. Registration is required and may be completed at Eventbrite.com. Those registering should search “Patriot Warehouse,” or email bmarcy@apollo-pr.com.
