Join the fun at Fall Fest. The Greencastle Legion Grounds will host the Fall Fest. This vibrant event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, and features an impressive lineup of more than 25 food trucks and 200-plus retail vendors, offering a diverse array of culinary delights and unique shopping opportunities. Attendees can also enjoy carnival rides provided by Snyder’s Attractions, making it a fun-filled day for families and friends. The festival is open to the public with free admission.

Bounce into Halloween. The Downtown Hagerstown Halloween Block Party is set to take place on Friday, Oct. 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on South Potomac Street. This festive event promises a variety of activities suitable for all ages, including trick-or-treating. A highlight of the evening will be the costume contests, featuring categories for kids, followed by family/group and adult contests. Additional attractions include a bounce house for children and a D.J. to keep the atmosphere lively.

Trick-or-Treat in Chambersburg. Chambersburg will host its annual Trick-or-Treat on Main event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26. Attendees are encouraged to come in their best costumes to enjoy trick-or-treating at various downtown businesses and restaurants along Main Street. Following the trick-or-treating, a costume contest for both children and adults will take place at 1:15 p.m. on the Courthouse Plaza. This community event promises fun for all ages, ensuring a memorable Halloween experience in downtown Chambersburg.

Dress up and sing along. The iconic cult classic returns to Chambersburg as Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show: LIVE ON STAGE takes the spotlight at The Capitol Theatre from Oct. 25 to 27. This live stage adaptation promises an interactive experience, encouraging attendees to dress as their favorite characters and sing along to beloved songs. Showtimes include a late-night performance on Friday at 9:30 p.m., a Saturday matinee at 3 p.m., and a repeat matinee on Sunday at 3 p.m. The event, presented in collaboration with the Chambersburg Community Theatre, offers a unique twist on the traditional viewing experience, complete with concessions and beverages available for purchase.

Experience the magic of the Mummers’ Parade. The Mummers’ Parade, a cherished tradition running for 97 years, is one of the largest nighttime parades on the East Coast. Scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, at 6 p.m., the parade route begins on North Potomac Avenue just past Charles Street and concludes at the intersection of South Potomac and Howard Street in Hagerstown. Spectators can enjoy the festivities for free along the parade route, making it accessible to all. For those seeking a more comfortable viewing experience, tickets for reserved seating can be purchased at the Maryland Theatre Box Office. This vibrant event showcases a variety of performances and colorful costumes, drawing crowds eager to celebrate this unique cultural spectacle.
