FAYETTEVILLE – Jason and Jackie Fisher have waited a long time for this moment – a Grand Re-Opening.

Art Sign Company was founded in 1948 by Edwin Patterson on Nelson Street in Chambersburg. Ed was an innovator and for many years the company supplied the signage needs of the area.

Jason began working for Patterson in 2006 and learned the trade. Then in 2013 Jason and his wife were able to buy the business.

“We’d been watching the building here on Lincoln Way East for quite a long time” said Jackie. “Then in 2022 we were able to move the business here in June.”

But the opening had to be delayed when Jason had some health issues. “Finally being able to have a formal Opening Day makes this special” according to Jason.

The shop features very modern equipment

The new shop features some of the latest equipment, none of it more than five years old. With three printers, two cutters, a laminator and other equipment, they are able to print everything from simple yard signs to banners up to billboard size, truck and vehicle graphics, and construct lighted commercial signs.

“Corn Hole boards with colorfully laminated surfaces are also popular” according to Jackie.

For the ribbon cutting, Jackie commented that they built their business to serve the community, but never imagined how much the community would support them. She thanked all for showing up, suppliers and landlords, their staff for the great work they do every day, and of course their family for helping when needed.

Art Sign Company trucks to rapidly serve the surrounding area

“We’re thankful to carry on what Ed started so many years ago.”

Art Sign Company is located at 3155 Linclon Way East in Fayetteville. Their hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. For more information, visit their website at artsignco.com or call 717-264-4211.
