HAGERSTOWN – Spurred in part by a 13.5 percent growth this year, officials with Hagerstown Regional Airport are adding 18 additional flights between mid-May and September. These will improve travel for those heading to Myrtle Beach, St. Pete-Clearwater and Orlando-Sanford.
Expanded Flight Schedule Highlights
Myrtle Beach (MYR):
- Flights resume Friday, May 23.
- Starting June 8, through Sept. 1, service increases to four flights per week.
St. Pete-Clearwater (PIE):
- Seven additional flights will be added in August 2025, extending the summer flight season.
- Service increases to three flights per week from May 25 to Aug. 14.
- Two flights per week are scheduled from Aug. 17 to Aug. 31.
Orlando-Sanford (SFB):
- Year-round service continues.
- Three flights per week are scheduled from May 19 to Aug. 8.
- Two flights per week continue from Aug. 11 to Sept 1.
During peak summer weeks, the airport will offer as many as 10 weekly flights, accommodating increased demand and providing greater flexibility for travelers. Passengers will also enjoy upgraded service on Allegiant’s brand-new Boeing 737 Max 8-200 aircraft, which features the “Allegiant Extra” seating option with an additional six inches of legroom, reserved overhead bin space, priority boarding and first access to in-flight service .
Continued Growth and Success
The airport’s collaboration with Allegiant Air continues to deliver impressive results, airport officials said. From September 2024 to August 2025, the total number of flights will increase to 309—up from 274 flights during the same period the previous year.
