Mrs. Anna Mae (Crilley) “Mae Mae” Perry Ray, 88, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, in the home of her daughter, surrounded by her family.
Born September 22, 1936 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Crilley, Sr. and Helen E. (Wade) Crilley. She was a lifelong resident of the Waynesboro area.
She and her husband, the late Charles W. Perry, were married on September 14, 1968. Mr. Perry died on January 9, 1990.
In her early life, Mae worked for Doubleday Publishing, Smithsburg, MD. She later worked several years at the Red Hen Deli in Mont Alto, PA.
She was a member of Calvary Chapel, Beartown, PA, Women of the Moose Lodge #1191, Waynesboro and the Red Hat Society.
Mae enjoyed crocheting, sewing, baking, cooking, listening to live music and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two children, Robin L. “Rob” Bonner (Diane) of Waynesboro and Maria M. Bakner (Larry) of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Brady Bakner, Jennifer Daywalt, Jessica Kahl and Joshua Bonner; four great-grandchildren, Blake, Brody, John and Lily; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by eight siblings, Robert Crilley, Clyde Crilley, Jr., Nellie Stitely, Pauline Creager, Cora Crilley, June Eyler, Evelyn Burgan and William Crilley.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 25, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Burial will follow in Calvary Chapel Cemetery, Beartown, PA.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Friday evening, in the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Residential Hospice for the wonderful care their mother received, especially her nurses – Steph and Emily. They would also like to thank her caregiver, Lorretta Kline, for wonderful care of their mother.
