Calvin E. Snodgrass, 79, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born November 11, 1945 in Springfield, CO, the son of late Pearl and Ralph Snodgrass. Calvin graduated from Springfield High School and attended one year of college before being drafted into the US Army. He was a Farm/Rancher, diesel mechanic, and lastly a retired grandfather. He enjoyed gardening and building things. Surviving is his wife Rita, their three children, sons Gary Snodgrass of Syracuse, Kansas, Makis Snodgrass and wife Ginger of Trenton, Georgia and daughter Carrie and husband Joe of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters Shirley and Otis Bonner and Mildred and Phil Norton as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters (Kate and Carolyn), three nephews, and one niece. Services will be private and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
