Charles G. “Charlie” Wagner, 81, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away on Monday April 7, 2025, at Quincy Village in Waynesboro, PA.
He was born on November 17, 1943, in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Alvin G. and June M. (Kuhlwind) Wagner.
Charlie was employed by the United States Postal Service as a Postmaster in various locations. He was a graduate of Camp Hill High School and a member of Brethren Fellowship in Chambersburg, PA. He was an avid sports fan and supported the Baltimore Orioles and Penn State Nittany Lions. He was also a youth baseball umpire and a high school football referee.
He is survived by his wife, Sallie Wagner of Waynesboro, PA, whom he married on June 11, 1993; children Todd Sites (Wendy), Lisa Blanton, Charles G. Wagner, Jr., and Matthew Sites (Heather), 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother Barry K. Wagner, and sister Sharon D. Legge.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor Mike Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
