Mr. Clyde F. Yeager, 96, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, at Mercy House, Chambersburg, PA.

Born November 10, 1929 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Henry L. and Laura E. (Morganthall) Yeager.

Mr. Yeager graduated from Washington Township High School with the Class of 1951.

He and his wife, the late Janet L. (Keyser) Yeager, were married on May 29, 1955 in Fairview Ave. Brethren in Christ Church, Waynesboro. Mrs. Yeager died on April 12, 2002.

Mr. Yeager worked for Teledyne-Landis Machine. He retired in 1994 after 43 years of service.

He was a member of Fairview Ave. Brethren in Christ Church, Waynesboro, for over 70 years.

Mr. Yeager enjoyed hunting, fishing, stamp collecting, wood carving, bowling and reading. He also enjoyed rooting for the Washington Redskins, Oakland Athletics and Penn State football.

He is survived by two sons, C. Frank Yeager (Joy) of Chambersburg and Jeffrey W. Yeager (Tonja) of Waynesboro; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was the last of his immediate family.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Linda Susan Yeager; two brothers, Donald Yeager and Paul Yeager; and one sister, Viola Lamprey.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 16, 2025 in Fairview Ave. Brethren in Christ Church, 152 Fairview Ave., Waynesboro, PA with Pastor John Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery, near Quincy, PA.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Monday evening, in the church.
