Mrs. Darla J. (Swope) Adolini, 71, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away, Saturday, December 7, 2024, in Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation, Chambersburg, PA.

Born January 20, 1953, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Wesley M. and Emma Jane (Shindledecker) Swope.

Mrs. Adolini graduated from Waynesboro High School with the class of 1971.

She and her husband, Terry E. Adolini were married April 14, 1973, in the Evangelical Luteran Church, Waynesboro.

In her earlier days, Mrs. Adolini was employed at the Waynesboro Post Office and also worked as a dietary aide at the Waynesboro Hospital. She later in life became a homemaker, taking care of her children.

She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waynesboro, enjoyed playing bingo, and was a sports advocate, always watching them on TV, particularly the Pittsburg Steelers, Penn State, and local basketball teams. She got great enjoyment out of spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of over 53 years, she is survived by two daughters, Michelle Adolini, of Shippensburg, PA and Brandy Melius and her husband Derrick, of Waynesboro; two grandchildren, Bryce Warren and his wife Carmen, and Madison Warren; her siblings, Terry Swope of Waynesboro, Bradley Swope of Clear Spring, MD, and Pamela Welty of Waynesboro; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Adolini was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
