Mrs. Darlene F. (Miller) Stouffer, 76, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Saturday morning, July 12, 2025, in the Waynesboro Hospital.
Born December 11, 1948 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Ordean W. “Dean” and Charlotte R. (Honodel) Miller.
Darlene graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1966.
She and her husband of over 53 years, George Stouffer, Jr., were married on September 4, 1971.
Darlene worked at Fisher’s Stationary from 1966 until 2020. She worked in the Waynesboro store and later in the Hagerstown store.
She was a member of Eagles Club, Inc. And Joe Sticklell American Legion Post #15, both of Waynesboro.
Darlene was an avid bowler from 1971 until 2019. She also enjoyed motorcycle and hot rod trips with her friends and malt shop oldies. She was loving and caring to everyone she met and loved her family, friends and husband.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her Godchild, Heather Reichard (Bradley) of Chambersburg; her siblings, Grover “Dean” Miller of Waynesboro and Sherry Brown of Shepardstown, WV; three sisters-in-law, Rosalie Lehman, Vivian Schlottman (Bill) and Julie Myers (Kevin), all of Greencastle, PA; one brother-in-law, Kevin Stouffer (Francie) of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 18, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor Dwan Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening and one hour prior to the services, Friday morning, in the funeral home.
