David W. Neill,73, passed away November 20, 2024, at the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born October 19, 1951, in Waynesboro, the son of the late Gladys (Henicle) and Wilson Neill. He graduated from Waynesboro Senior High School in 1969 and from Christ for the Nations Bible College (Dallas, Texas) in 1981. Dave spent the majority of his life as a commercial truck driver in Dallas, Texas, and Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He was a faithful member of Spirit of Christ Community Church in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. His hobbies included walking the dog, watching football and various other sports, volunteering his time, spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends, going to the beach, studying the Bible and he loved his naps. David is survived by his wife, Susan (Beaver) Neill, a daughter, Autumn (Neill) Bauserman (husband Paul) and one son, Jesse Neill both of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. In addition he is survived by four grandchildren: Summer (Neill) Delgadeo (husband Wilbel), Kylie Inners, Matthew Neill, and Payton Bauserman. As well as great grandchildren: Honesty (three years old) and K’syn (due any day). A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Sellers Funeral Home with the Retired Pastor Dan Browell officiating.
