A note from Debbie: A special thanks to my doctors and nurses at Chambersburg Hospital Wound Care Center and Hershey Medical Center, especially Dr. Boltz and Dr. Cooper with their teams. My heartfelt love and thanks to my wonderful caregivers, MacKenzie, Jackie and Jade. You made my life at home as normal as possible and I will never forget.

A mother’s love for her son in stronger than anything. Casey is the epitome of that love. Mom will always be there.

To my very loving husband Michael, it’s been a long 5 ½ year journey. From the first day you held my hand and whispered in my ear “we walk this walk together”. You’ve never left me when others would have walked away. Your love for me is unmatched and unwavering. You are my protector, listener, soul mate and truly the love of my life. I will always be with you and wait for you until the day you are by my side again.

Lastly to my friends and people whom I have made an impression on, always fight.
