Mrs. Debra K. “Debbie” (Sprenkle) Seabrook, 71, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Mercy House, Chambersburg.
Born March 16, 1954 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Sarah (Brewer) Sprenkle.
She graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the class of 1973.
She and her husband of over 24 years, Dale Seabrook, Jr., were married on April 21, 2001.
She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1191, Waynesboro and the former Waynesboro F.O.E. She also kept in contact with her high school class and regularly attended the class reunions.
She loved to go camping with her grandkids when they were younger. She also found drawing to be especially enjoyable.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, John D. Bowers, Jr. (Cori) of Berkley Springs, WV; her step-children: Laurie Timmons (Joey) of South Mountain, PA, and Adrienna Weldon (Mark), Justin Lehman and Krystin Lehman all of Chambersburg; two grandchildren: Tiffany and Hunter Bowers, both of Berkley Springs; several step grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; her siblings: Yvonne “Sissy” Brown (Harry) of Fort Wayne IN; and Barbara Waldschlager (Michael) of Michigan; her brother-in-law, Larry Patterson of Waynesboro; her special niece, Bonnie Sue Clark Stewart of Waynesboro; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Scott H. Bowers, who passed away in 1975; two brothers: George and Terry Sprenkle and three sisters: Carol Clark, Ellen Stinebaugh and Nancy Patterson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 15, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. Waynesboro, PA, with Michael Waldschlager officiating. Burial will follow in Burns Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Monday evening, in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Waynesboro High School Class of 1973, C/O Cheryl Baker, 9982 Amsterdam Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268, to help pay for their reunions.
