Ms. Debra K. Miller, 67, formerly of Mercersburg, PA, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 in Pleasant Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, York, PA.

Born April 28, 1957 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, she was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Lou (Harbaugh) Nichols of New Oxford, PA and the late Douglas E. West.

Debra was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1975.

Ms. Miller was employed by Truck Enterprises, Inc., Hagerstown, MD for almost 20 years and volunteered at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.

She enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining family and friends in her home. She loved trips to the beach as well as reading a good book.

In addition to her mother, she leaves behind two children: daughter, Nichole R. Lehr and her husband, Stuart and their children, Sienna and Garrett of Gloucester, MA and son, Dustin B. Miller of McAllen, TX; former husband, Charles E. Miller of Waynesboro; siblings, Robbin L. Shetron and her husband, Jeffrey of Abbottstown, PA, Douglas E. West of Waynesboro and David W. West of SC; step-brothers, Stephen P. Nichols and Edwin B. Nichols, Jr., both of Waynesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews as well as a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by step-father, Edwin B. Nichols.

A memorial service to honor Debra’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 8, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. A reception will immediately follow.
