Mrs. Denise K. (Gill) Hutchison, 67, of Greencastle, PA, passed away unexpectedly in her home, Friday, November 22, 2024.
Born December 16, 1956, in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Herman H. and Mary K. (Calimer) Gill.
Mrs. Hutchison was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School, MD with the class of 1974. She later attended Shepherd University in West Virgina, where she studied social work.
Her and her husband, Paul A. Hutchison, were married September 10, 1978 in the Church of God, Cascade, MD.
Mrs. Hutchison held various jobs over the course of her life, including CE National, John Ross Jewlers, Melart Jewlery, and most recently, being a business owner of Blue Heron Events and From Scratch Catering in Greencastle.
A pastor’s wife, and strong in her faith, she was a member of Community Grace Church in Greencastle. She spent many years coordinating the National Youth Conference, and enjoyed the blessing of spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Aaron Hutchison and Jessica Paris and her husband Jason, both of Greencastle; three grandchildren, Benjamin, Zachary, and Nicholas Paris; two sisters, Cindy Lorshbaugh of Hagerstown, and Colleen Rohrer of Greencastle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosemary Stottlemyer and Charleen Gill.
A celebration of Denise’s life will be held, Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 12:00 P.M until 2:00 P.M., at Blue Heron Events, 407 S. Washington Street, Greencastle.
