Mr. Dennis E. Wolfe, of Cascade, MD, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025 in his home.
Born in Cascade, he was the son of the late Earl S. Wolfe, Jr. and Jerolene M. (Moore) Wolfe.
Mr. Wolfe was a graduate of Smithsburg High School with the Class of 1967.
He was employed by Mack Truck Manufacturing, Hagerstown, MD, retiring after more than 40 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked as a delivery driver for NAPA Auto Parts, Rouzerville, PA.
Mr. Wolfe was a member of several local social clubs including, Williamsport (MD) Red Man, Potomac Fish and Game and Sons of the American Legion, Post #239, Cascade.
He enjoyed drag racing as well as boat racing and following girls’ college softball.
One of his proudest accomplishments is being “Daddy” to his devoted daughter, Denise and “Granddaddy” to his cherished granddaughters, Holli and Taylor and his great-grandchildren, Leah, Maggie, Elias and Ada.
He is survived by his daughter, Denise Stauffer (Mike); granddaughters, Holli Walter (Brandon) and Taylor Crummitt (Jeffrey); great-grandchildren, Leah & Maggie Walter and Elias & Ada Crummitt; his children, Dennis Wolfe and Dalene Middlekauff; and his wife, Deann (Sellers) Wolfe.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 15, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor Linda Rosenberry officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Church Cemetery, Cascade.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday in the funeral home.
