Denny E. Flohr, Sr., 62, of Greencastle, PA, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Denny was born on October 26, 1963, to the late Daniel R. and Pearl R. (Working) Flohr in Waynesboro, PA.

Denny graduated from Smithsburg High School with the Class of 1981.

Denny and his wife, Mrs. Lori A. (Baker) Flohr were married February 28, 1984, in Hagerstown, MD.

Denny was employed by Hurley Auctions for several years, while also managing his own business, Flohr’s Vintage, established in 1998. Flohr’s Vintage currently remains open.

Denny was a member of the Acacia Lodge No. 155 in Thurmont, MD. In true dedication to his work, Denny spent most of his time attending auctions looking for different variations of furniture to restore at his local business. To Denny this wasn’t a

job, it was an enjoyable passion that he was fortunate enough to make a living at. Above all, Denny’s world was his family, whom he loved dearly. To know Denny, was to love him, a loyal friend, husband, brother, father, and uncle who always

extended a helping hand to others with no expectations of anything in return.

In addition to his loving wife of 41 years, he is survived by two sons, Denny E. Flohr, Jr., and Andrew S. Flohr, both of Greencastle, PA: one sister, Debbie Gladhill and her husband Travis of Blue Ridge Summit, PA; several nieces and nephews, and his beloved four-legged grandbabies, Odin, Aries, Bear, Tigger, Thomas, Kidder, and Annabelle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Daniel Flohr Jr, and Dinah Stottlemeyer.
