Mr. Donald E. Pierce, Sr., 77, of Waynesboro, PA passed away, Friday, January 2, 2026, in the Waynesboro Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Born June 13, 1948 in Fort Monroe, VA, he was the son of the late Marion E. and Margaret (Curry) Pierce.

He and his wife of over 54 years, Beverly Kay (Gantz) Pierce, were married on June 26, 1971.

Mr. Pierce worked at Teledyne Landis Machine Company for over 48 years. He retired in 2016.

He was a member of the Waynesboro Fish and Game and William Max McLaughlin V.F.W. Post #695, Waynesboro.

Mr. Pierce was a car enthusiast, who enjoyed working on cars, restoring his 1978 Ford pickup – “Christine”, drag racing, demolition derbies, and fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Donald E. Pierce, Jr. (Jenny) of Carlisle, PA, Chad R. Pierce (Brandy) of Mont Alto, PA and Lesa D. Lynn (Wes) of Mont Alto, PA; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Lempley of Myrtle Beach, SC and Pam Byrd of Alabama; one brother, Randy Pierce of Cheraw, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenny Pierce, Larry Pierce, Mike Pierce and Chris Pierce.

Private graveside services will be held in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA, at the convenience of the family.
