Mrs. Evette M. (Bumbaugh) Krocker, 60, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away, Monday evening, May 5, 2025, in Chambersburg Hospital.

Born February 15, 1965 in Waynesboro, PA she was the daughter of the late William and Lorriane (Moats) Bumbaugh.

Mrs. Krocker graduated from Waynesboro Area High School with the class of 1983.

She and her husband, the late Mark A. Krocker were married January 24, 2025. They enjoyed over 29 years spent together when Mark passed away February 3, 2025.

She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for numerous years, most recently working at Quincy Village, Quincy, PA, for over 10 years before medically retiring.

Mrs. Krocker found happiness in the simple joys of life such as camping, playing cards, going to the races, and trips to the beach. She could often be found seeking out a great deal at the Good Will. A social butterfly, she enjoyed spending time with her friends. Above all else, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and caretaker, who got joy out of spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of those she loved.

She is survived by her two children, Hayley A. Krocker and her husband Anthony Edwards of Waynesboro, Cody E. Bumbaugh and his wife Lexi of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Jameson Small, Eleanor Edwards, William, and Autum Bumbaugh; two sisters, Debra Bakner and Billy Jo Reed; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Bumbaugh.

A celebration of Evette’s life will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 7, 2025, at South Mountain Volunteer Fire Department, 11207 Loop Road, Fayetteville, PA.
