Fay Judith Kimball age 91, of Chambersburg, PA and formerly of Merrimac, MA passed away

on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at her home in Chambersburg. Born October 19, 1933, in

Newburyport, MA, she was the daughter of the late George Norris and Helen Landford Foster.

 

Mrs. Kimball attended the University of New Hampshire where she earned a Bachelor of

Science degree in Occupational Therapy, which she practiced for 35 years, retiring in 1992.

She was a member of Merrimacport United Methodist Church and attended St. Paul United

Methodist Church locally in Chambersburg. She enjoyed gardening, reading, her bible study,

history, especially the Civil War History, and genealogy. Mrs. Kimball was also very fond of her

beloved cats, Jake and Jasper.

 

Surviving are two daughters, Susan Ellis and husband, William of Chambersburg, and Lynn

Givas and husband, Thomas of Syracuse, NY; four grandchildren, Benjamin Ellis of Pittsburgh,

PA, Stephanie Sheedy and husband, Peter of Newburg, NY, Peter Givas and wife, Elizabeth of

East Syracuse, NY, and Nicholas Givas of Syracuse, NY; two great granddaughters, Jane and

Penelope Givas; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded

in death by her husband, Frank Kimball in 2018, and a brother, George Norris Foster, Jr.

 

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Merrimac, MA. Arrangements are entrusted to
