Mr. Franklin L. “Frank” Bingaman, 81, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, surrounded by his family and his life-long friend Whitey, in his home.

Born June 23, 1943, in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Franklin T. and Helen (Reed) Bingaman.

He and his wife, the late Sylvia J. (Triesh) Bingaman were married March 4, 1960. They enjoyed 61 years of marriage together before Mrs. Bingaman passed away May 13, 2021.

In his younger years, Frank was employed at local orchards and farms and would cut wood on the side. He spent 42 years working as a Machinist at Landis Tool Company in Waynesboro. He formally retired in 2003.

He was a member of the Owl’s Club, Waynesboro. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, hunting and deep-sea fishing when he was younger, but always had a love for the outdoors and God’s creatures. He had a special love for Western’s and would always be found watching them. He was an exceptional father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who got great enjoyment out of spending time with his family and his dog Molly. He was a hardworking, kindhearted man and he will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Todd Bingaman of Delaware, Rex R. Bingaman, Joey Bingaman and his wife Kristi, Joy “Missy” Monn and her husband John, Franklin Bingaman and his wife Karen, all of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Richard, Ryan, Tyler, Erica, Howard, Justin, Noah, Mark, Cindy, Jessica, and Heidi; 24 great grandchildren; one brother, David Bingaman of Shade Gap, PA; three sisters, Camilla Misner, Cindy Shockey, and Pam Kauffman all of Waynesboro; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Lee Bingaman; grandchildren Kailyn and Jay; two brothers, Teddy and Denny Bingaman; and one sister, Patricia “Patsy” Smith.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to nurse Buffey at SpiritTrust Hospice, daughter Missy, brother-in-law Bobby, and sister-in-law Debbie, for all their help and kindness in taking care of Frank during his final days.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
