Mr. Hanzy “Kidd” Stull, Jr., 85, of Greencastle, PA, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025, at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished spending time with his family.
Kidd had a deep love for the New York Yankees, enjoyed mowing his grass, and found joy in visiting the casino. He was a proud member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 606 in Fort Loudon, PA.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Mabel stull; his five children, Randy E. Stull (Trina), Gary L. Stull, Leslie F. Stull (Brittany), Jenny M. Snyder (Don), and Lisa A. Hartle (Ray); three sisters, Goldie Scott, Juanita Swartz, and Dolly Ebersole; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hanzy and C. Almeda (Patterson) Stull; seven brothers, Reynolds Stull, Eugene Stull, Chauncey “Tucker” Stull, George “Obie” Stull, Ray I. Stull, Horkey Stull, and Arnold Stull; and four sisters, Betty McFerren, Patsy Crider, Nancy DeHart, and Flory Stull.
Kidd will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, laughter, and family will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 21, 2025, in Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle with Pastor Terry Ulrich officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, 1215 Buchanan Trail W., Greencastle.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday evening in the funeral home.
